This February, we are back in Los Angeles for our annual G’Day USA Arts Gala: a celebration of the industries and individuals that tell our stories.

The Arts Gala showcases an optimistic community of creators, built on two decades of energetic exchange. Funds raised from the event will support the American Australian Association and its Arts Fund, allowing the next generation of trailblazers to soar.

Featuring high-profile performances, presenters and a star-studded red carpet, the 2025 G’Day USA Arts Gala promises an unforgettable evening. Join us on February 21, 2025 to create the story of US.

Delta Goodrem

Craig Gillespie

Recognized for his sharp, offbeat comedy and ability to inspire honest performances, Craig Gillespie is an
Australian-American film, television, and commercial director who has become one of the most in-demand
auteurs working today with a dynamic resume of projects under his belt.

Gillespie is the director of the much-lauded feature Dumb Money for Sony Pictures, which
stars an all-star ensemble including Paul Dano, Shailene Woodley, Seth Rogen, America Ferrera,
Sebastian Stan, Pete Davidson, and Nick Offerman. The film is an adaptation based on the book, The
Antisocial Network, from New York Times bestselling author, Ben Mezrich. The film adapts the huge
news story from 2021 about how a group of amateur investors rattled Wall Street and made millions off
GameStop, a failing video game retailer and made its world premiere at the 2023 Toronto International
Film Festival.

Gillespie is the director behind Cruella, the live-action prequel to the 101 Dalmatians story, starring Emma
Stone, released in May 2021. The film was nominated for two Academy Awards, two BAFTAs, a Grammy
Award, two HCA Awards, a Golden Globe Award, two Critics Choice Awards and took home an Academy
Award and BAFTA for “Best Costume Design” in 2022.

Samara Weaving

Samara Weaving is one of Hollywood’s most promising young talents working today.

Weaving made waves in 2019 as the star of Searchlight’s horror comedy READY OR NOT, cementing her place as one of the top young talents in the industry with what THE WRAP called “a star-making performance.”

She recently completed production on the comedic thriller BORDERLINE directed by Jimmy Warden and produced by LuckyChap Entertainment. She also stars in the action-horror film AZRAEL, which was just picked up in a hot bidding war by Paramount’s REPUBLIC PICTURES for its North American theatrical release.

Previously, she starred in Paramount Pictures’ SCREAM VI, the latest installment of the classic horror franchise. She also starred in Searchlight’s musical biopic CHEVALIER alongside Kelvin Harrison Jr. Weaving also starred as the lead opposite Eugenio Derbez in the Hulu film THE VALET and joined a star-studded cast in Oscar winning director Damien Chazelle’s Academy Award nominated BABYLON.

In 2021, she starred in Hulu’s eight-part limited series NINE PERFECT STRANGERS alongside Nicole Kidman and Melissa McCarthy. She was also seen in Paramount’s long-awaited GI Joe spin off SNAKE EYES.
