On a Mission: Taryn Brumfitt inspires us all to Embrace

We laughed and we cried as 2023 Australian of the Year, Taryn Brumfitt shared her experiences and achievements from an impactful year of building better body image at our International Women’s Day event. Taryn leads The Embrace Collective, alongside body image expert Dr Zali Yager and this dynamic duo are on a mission to share the Embrace Kids film and school resources with the world- to spread kindness and combat the persistent pressures that young people face- starting right here in New York, and in California.

“This is a complex problem, but we know what to do, we have the resources, and we want to share them here in the US, as young people are in such desperate need for them here- the only thing that is holding us back is the funding and connections to make impact happen like what we’ve been able to achieve in Australia.”
