2026 Winter Internship Program
The American Australian Association is seeking motivated, full-time interns to join our team in Midtown Manhattan through our Winter Internship Program.
Interns work alongside our team across the Association’s activities, supporting high-profile events, briefings and programs that strengthen ties between Australia and the United States. It’s a hands-on opportunity to gain broad experience at a leading non-profit while connecting with leaders across business, government, education and the arts.
What you’ll do
- Assist with event planning, logistics and on-the-day support
- Support our scholarship, education and alumni programs
- Help with communications, including social media, newsletters and web content
- Contribute to research, administration and other projects across the team
Details
- Paid position, approximately 40 hours per week. We’re happy to work with other schedules depending on availability, especially around study commitments.
- Based at our Midtown headquarters, close to Grand Central
- The program runs on a rolling basis
We’re looking for someone who is
- Organized, detail-oriented and a strong communicator
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Interested in the Australia–U.S. relationship and eager to get involved across a range of projects
Eligibility
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The Association is unable to sponsor visas for this position.
