Hosted by AWNY’s very own creative-goddess, artist, and marketing pro Tarley Jordan, this special event will feature an engaging Q&A with Georgia, along with a reading from the book. Taking place on November 21 from 6-8 PM at the American Australian Association, the evening promises holiday cheer, lively conversation, and plenty of time to mingle over bubbles and bites. Georgia Clark (she/they) is an award-winning, seven-time published novelist and performer. Georgia is the author of Most Wonderful, Island Time, It Had To Be You, The Regulars, The Bucket List, and others. As the founder and host of the popular storytelling night Generation Women, Georgia performs monthly at New York’s iconic Joe’s Pub. In addition to teaching the Romance Workshop, Georgia mentors a Writers Group and Storyteller Group, hosts Writers’ Retreats, and creates the monthly author newsletter, Heartbeat. A native Australian, Georgia lives in Brooklyn with their hot wife and sweet toddler.
Tarley Jordan is a marketer working at the intersection of brand, communications, and culture. Passionate about amplifying the voices of creatives, by day she promotes the work of over 400 artists, designers and thinkers at BUCK, a global design and animation studio. By night, she cultivates her own art practice working in the medium of fiber art through embroidery and textile collage. Tarley is an active member in the Queens arts community and has been a long-time volunteer with AWNY, having helped tell the story of over 100 aussie and kiwi womxn who have made it in New York.
