We anticipate an audience of predominantly Fortune 500 Executives, who are eager to discuss the security implications of a business environment increasingly exposed to GenAI and Nation State attacks. Please note, this will be a ‘Chatham House Rule’ discussion and media will not be attending.

Mohan Koo

Co-founder and President, DTEX

Mohan Koo is the Co-founder and President of DTEX and is widely recognized as a thought leader in cybersecurity, with a specific passion for bridging the gap between security and privacy. Hailing from Adelaide, Australia, Mohan was recognized as Australian Entrepreneur of the Year in 2021 by the Pearcey Foundation. He also received the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) ‘Digital Economy’ Award for strengthening economic ties between Australia and the U.S. in 2022. In 2024, Mohan was honored by Kevin Rudd, Australian Ambassador to the U.S., for his contributions in shaping the Australian-U.S. security alliance.

Steven Marshall, President of the American Australian Association and 46th Premier of South Australia (2018–2022), is a champion of innovation and economic growth with a strong international business network. With extensive government experience, he continues to drive advancements in emerging industries, fostering technological progress, cultural enrichment, and economic development across Australia and beyond.

JT Mendoza

Executive Director, US Insider Risk Management Center of Excellence

J.T. Mendoza has over 25 years of experience in the public and private sectors, serving in positions of progressive responsibility. He currently serves as Head of Insider Risk Management for an international organization with over 800k employees in over 140 countries; and, as the Executive Director of the US Insider Risk Management Center of Excellence.

J.T. is focused on leading the ‘COE’ to fulfill its vision of promoting private, public, and academic partnerships to foster knowledge sharing and resources to ‘raise the tide and lift all insider risk/threat practitioners.’ Prior to transitioning to the commercial sector, JT served as Deputy Director, US Air Force Insider Threat. In this role, he was responsible for strategy, outreach, and integration efforts for one of the largest programs within the US Government. Before joining the USAF, he served as a senior leader within Defense Intelligence Agency’s Counterespionage Division. In addition to overseeing numerous joint cases with the FBI, which led to successful prosecutions, he led DIA’s efforts to revamp and increase the ability to protect and defend the agency against insider threat penetration attempts.

Michael Barnhart

DTEX Principal i3 Insider Investigator

Michael Barnhart is the Principal i3 Insider Investigator at DTEX. Formerly he served as the Head of DPRK Operations at Mandiant/Google Cloud, where he leads specialized teams focused on tracking and analyzing North Korea’s evolving cyber threat landscape. With more than a decade of experience in advanced threat intelligence and nation-state operations, Michael has played a key role in uncovering some of the most sophisticated campaigns linked to DPRK actors. His work combines in-depth technical analysis with strategic insights, helping global organizations proactively detect and defend against emerging threats.

Amit Kachhia-Patel

Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC)
FBI, New York Office, Cyber Branch

Since 2022, Mr. Kachhia-Patel has overseen the largest FBI computer intrusion program encompassing 100 personnel investigating nation state and criminal cyber threats. Mr. Kachhia-Patel over 20 years of experience as an FBI Special Agent having worked counterintelligence, insider threat and cyber matters as a front-line investigator, program manager as well as advisor to two (2) FBI Directors. He has also managed some of the largest cyber incidents to include Sony Pictures destructive malware attack, OPM and Anthem hacks. Mr. Kachhia-Patel holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
