Lara studied at the Queensland Conservatorium under Michele Walsh and Graeme Jennings. She received her Bachelor of Music with first class Honours in 2012 and Master of Music studies in 2014. Her passion is for orchestral music, and she has performed with the Sydney Symphony Sinfonia, Queensland Syrrphony Orchestra, and the Australian Youth Orchestra.
