Samantha McCulloch is currently undertaking a three-month residency at the NARS Foundation in New York City. She is trained as an artist and curator and has exhibited in Australia and abroad. She was selected as one of Next Wave Festival’s emerging curators and curated a multi-site exhibition at the Centre for Contemporary Photography in Melbourne. Recent exhibitions include: Ground(s), c3, 2016; Concerted Efforts, Westspace, 2015 and From where I was, The Substation Gallery, 2015. Practice traces interactions between matter and site. Her photographs and sculptures explore the world as a series of becomings, a mesh of human, animal and plant interactions.
