Richard is the Director of Education and leads the design, delivery, and evaluation of the Association’s scholarship portfolio. He is focused on advancing strategic partnerships with education and industry stakeholders, enhancing the provision, scope, and effectiveness of programming, as well as cultivating robust alumni networks that reinforce the long-term outcomes of bilateral exchange.
His professional background spans teaching, management, and consultancy roles across the sector. He specialises in designing and operationalising complex multi-agency initiatives that mobilise diverse stakeholders, facilitate interdisciplinary projects, and deepen institutional and global academic partnerships.
Richard is a doctoral candidate researching the geopolitics of educational internationalisation and the policy implications of cross-border HE. His research informs the Association’s initiatives, ensuring programmes both support scholars and engage effectively with the global dynamics shaping international scholarship and institutional collaboration.
