The CSIRO Australian BIO Dinner, supporting the American Australian Association, took place on Friday, June 2 at The Colonnade Hotel in Boston.
The evening commenced with a warm welcome from Benson Saulo, Australia’s Consul-General and Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner to Houston, Texas to Australian delegates visiting Boston for the International BIO Convention. Erica Kneipp, Research Director, Human Health, followed up with remarks about CSIRO research and innovation. Another highlight of the program was the keynote speech by Australian biotechnology executive, strategist and advisor, Jane Grogan. Heather M. Ridout AO, Consul General of Australia, New York, spoke about opportunities afforded by the ongoing strength of the American-Australian relationship.
