On Tuesday November 14th, we celebrated our 75th Anniversary Benefit Dinner in New York, acknowledging the vision of Sir Keith Murdoch which has continued to thrive since 1948.
We honored Rupert & Lachlan Murdoch for their enduring commitment to the Association and continued support of Sir Keith’s legacy, and Rio Tinto Chair, Dominic Barton for his business and government leadership and commitment to corporate sustainability.
Pictured above, CEO of St. Vincent’s Curran Foundation, Shanthini Naidoo, announced a new clinical exchange partnership with St. Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, the first time in the history of the Association that a formal exchange program with an Australian hospital network has been established.
Through this partnership, doctors and nurses from both Australia and the US will have the opportunity to participate in immersive clinical experiences, working alongside renowned experts in their fields, commencing with:
- The JW&M Cunningham Foundation Clinical Exchange in Movement Disorders including Fragile X and Parkinson’s disease
- The Delta Goodrem Foundation Clinical Exchange for Stem Cell Transplant
- The Valerie McKenzie Clinical Exchange in Pain Management
We look forward to continuing to support the next generation of trailblazers through this program and to a stronger partnership with St Vincent’s Curran Foundation and St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney.
Thank you to our fantastic sponsors, presenters, honorees, scholars and alumni for making the night such a success. The night was capped off by a magnificent performance by The Beach Boys which had the crowd on their feet.
