Who is eligible for the American-Australian Veterans’ Fund Scholarship Program?
Australia to USA round 1:
- Applicants coming from Australia to the US must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia (dual US citizens/permanent residents are not eligible);
- Applicants must be honorably discharged post 9/11; and
- Applicants must be planning to undertake a minimum of one-year full time study at an American University.
Please note, it is not necessary to have already been accepted into the institution at the time of application. Prospective students are welcome to apply. Recipients will have a maximum of 2 years from the date of the grant being awarded to accept and use the award. Any remaining or unused grant amounts will be forfeited after this time.
US to Australia round 2:
- Applicants coming from the United States to Australia must be US citizens or permanent residents the US (dual Australian citizens/permanent residents are not eligible);
- Applicants must be honorably discharged post 9/11; and
- Applicants must be planning to undertake a minimum of one-year full time study at an Australian University.
