US-Australia Dialogue on Cyber Security

Event Description

G’Day USA & American Australian Association are proud to present the US-Australia Dialogue on Cyber Security in partnership with Austrade. This Dialogue explores how successive Australian governments’ cyber security strategies have fueled the sector’s growth and enabled Australia to become a cyber security leader in the Indo-Pacific region.

Over the past five years, Australia has attracted leading cyber companies by fostering its own capabilities, especially domestic talent, and now is driving its own solutions into the global cyber security value chains. Panelists will discuss this development, cyber security’s increasing importance for the U.S. and Australia and the common issues facing end-users and service providers in both countries. Guests will learn about the opportunities to not only grow business, but also how to tap into Australia’s dynamic and innovative cyber security ecosystem.

Panelists:
– Marene Allison: Chief Information Security Officer, Johnson & Johnson
– Sam Crowther: Founder & CEO, Kasada
– Megan Dubofsky: Operating Partner & CMO, Ten Eleven Ventures
– Malcolm Turnbull AC: Former Prime Minister of Australia

Moderator:
– Dr. Tobias Feakin: Australian Ambassador for Cyber Affairs & Critical Technology
